Can pills or creams treat veins?
Supplements containing Horse chestnut will contain aescin and asesulin, compounds that have been known to strengthen blood vessel walls. The Arbonne Leg Vein formula is available at Symmetry Laser Vein Center. As recommended in First magazine May 2005 issue.

What solution is used in the procedure?
It is a medication approved by the F.D.A., which has been used successfully for many years with no significant side effects.

Can I go back to my normal activities after the treatment?
Yes. You should be able continue your normal activities immediately. However, you will need to avoid heavy exercise and swimming 24 hours after the treatment. Most activities may be resumed the following day.

Will I have to wear compression hosiery?
We recommend that you wear compression hosiery as often as possible. Studies have shown that compression hose therapy often helps with symptoms. Compression dressings and hose will be required after the ELAS procedure for a designated period of time. However, it is not necessary to wear them on a regular basis.
